Nokomis: What's all this latest talk about parking some money in a good Mutual Fund? I know you say this with tongue firmly planted in cheek, but a mutual fund? This is treacherous, treasonous talk. A mutual fund! Ok, I like the idea of a sabbatical. But better we should invest in a good 2-yr old thoroughbred or a solid trotter. Better we should buy front-row box seats to the Red Sox at Fenway for all day and night games in August. (You can all stay here at Pepperland.) Better we should fly down and meet at the Red sox or Yankees spring training camp (MARCH is the cruelest month...a good time to get away...play golf in the morning, watch the exhibition games in the afternoons's, go to the races in the evenings...you reading me Robert G?) Better we should toss that money in a big pile, light a match and dance around the bonfire. A mutual fund. Indeed. Lee)
