Good morning puppy chasers. A decent game last night. The village tradition is to congregate at the tavern, where one of us is responsible for making the chili and another for running the pool. Oh yes, and we drink just a little and talk about Camus. I won the pool -- I had 24-16. The winnings did not last long. 'Twas good clean fun. The thing I noticed outside the game was the flat to negative response to most of the ads, with the exception of the ETrade ads; they were very well received. The ads and the backdrop of sponsorship, with Schwab having the pre-game and ETrade having the halftime, struck me as a sure sign that the mania has incredible depth.
