P.S. I got a couple of "congrats" PMs on my statement I've never lost at options and I felt embarrassed for making that statement. I was not intending to be bragging at all: I think I tend to be conservative in options plays anyway. But also, I thought about it and realized I HAD lost on a play, that I did the same day Poet did--I didn't have to either. It was before the QCOM split, and I believe it was a Feb 640 call. I couldn't stand waiting around for it to be profitable all day and I sold it at a $1k loss, even thoughit became profitable by 4 p.m. and moreover even more profitable the next week. So I should say: I would do very badly on short-term speculative optoins plays as I simply don't have the personality to bite my fingernails watching all day. Today for instance I bought Nortel 02 100 strike price. Nortel was down to about 91. It's a great company and obviously that's a pretty safe play. So that's probably why I've done okay at options so far (and with QCOM calls it wasthe luck of time compression pre split)
