Ike, AMD had a nice run, then backed off, but they are still kicking Intel's butt at every turn. Despite the lousy PC market, Intel has such a huge share of the business market that AMD can still grow just by chopping away at that rotten bit of wood. I think they are a nice spec buy here, though I would prefer out of the money calls in a 90/10 to buying the stock.
