RE: Pager for stock alerts

Hi Mark!

Good job with EGRP!
As for the pagers notifying you of stocks hitting selected price points or volume levels - yes... they have em...

Steve has mentioned one in his lists of tools... where is that Steve??
Oh I see he has given it to you again..
relatime quote pager is alert pager at 1-800-316-8932
(I started this message a while ago)

And I have found a couple of reasonable ones on the net as well...
One works in conjunction with portfolios set up on the stock smart site stocksmart.com
radio.net for some info on the pager...

You have to have your portfolio set up at the stock smart site (free) and have a pager capable of recieving e-mail. The details for setting it up are here
stocksmart.com
It says there...
Currently there are 4 types of Alerts available:
1. "Price rises to" or above
2. "Price falls to" or below
3. "Daily Pct Change" up or down
4. "Daily Net Change" up or down
5. "Time" specific time of day(Eastern time)
This is free too... except for the cost of your pager - which can be used for other things as well.

I don't have it - just saw it, might not be as good as more expensive packages. I believe one Steve has also will notify you of options. I don't think this does.

Also - if you have some of the higher end TA / Charting packages these have a paging capability....

Also - a Marimba site on the web called "Wall Street Web" also has a set up for paging, for a fee... Sky tel also offeres stock alert paging I believe. I am also interested in this - so I will let you know what else I find.

Maureen
