I too am interested in what people think about this stock. I got into it on a basis of a cold call from a broker at the security house that did its IPO. IBIS had a secondary offering in April 96 by a different brokerage house. At 7 at the time it rose nicely first to 9, then quickly to 11 1/4 with a fall back to 9 especially in the past 3 weeks. The broker's pitch was that there were only 3.5 mil shares out, most of it institutional held, its technology was good and about to bear fruit. Bottom line: .08 loss vs .38 loss a year ago (qtr).

In the meantime I received a qtr report which was upbeat. They are into SIMOX technology (wafers) and have received backing (an advanced payment from Motorola). They had positive cash flow (maybe for the first time) and are into expanding their capacity in anticipation of growth for commercial SIMOX wafers.

I received third-hand an independent opinion that their technology is old (inconsistent with the tone of the qtr report) and that the stock price might be manipulated. Are there some investors out there knowledgeable about this technology and about IBIS's position to exploit it?
