To keep the "psychology" going the Street will need to have a timely official announcement and the details of same do not need to contain the word "slump". I have come to hate that word.

Seriously, we will be harshly dealt with if an announcement is made that the talks have been extended or the devil in the details is confusing to the Wall Street numbers crunchers. However, I'm convinced Q leaked the story, probably to stop the bleeding from the CC and do hope the deal wasn't/isn't rushed before it's time. Wall Street needs to be comfortable with the dotted "i's" and crossed "t's".
