V, as I sit here listening to cnbc blabbering on about inflation and how terrible things are, it struck me that many investors today, perhaps even the majority, have not known bad times. They were kids, or not even born yet, when inflation was raging in double digits, when the gas companies were claiming the world was out of gas, when companies were laying off and comparable employment was not to be found, when homes were being foreclosed right and left. So when they hear on the news how bad things are, and how high inflation is, I realize now, they probably believe it!! And I bet Greenscam, who knows better, loves it, because it helps his Wizard of Oz role. |
