LEFTY... Torino facing bankruptcy, seeks refinancing Torino Oil & Gas Limited TGS Shares issued 16,999,230 2000-01-28 close $0.08 Monday Jan 31 2000 Mr. John Parry reports A petition for a receiving order under the Bankruptcy Act has been applied for against Torino by certain joint venture partners. The application is to be heard Feb. 8, 2000. Torino advises that it is actively examining a number of alternatives in this regard and is meeting with its major shareholders and debenture holders and is pursuing a number of alternatives for corporate refinancing that will resolve this issue. ================================ As an aside re "CTXE", they're supposed to reach TD (650M)by this week-end and hoping to get another 2 mmcf from this hole...Watch for any movement by CTXE from now til the middle of next week...
