blisenko, Also, I think that EMC is about to hit some pot holes in the future. They have been very succesful such as DELL and the other PC-centric companies but it is very difficult to keep that growth going. I look at this as an act of slight desperation. Why else would anyone want to deal with MSFT at this time.
Whoa, where to start. First, EMC is STORAGE, not PC centric anything. Next, storage revenue is growing faster, percentage wise, than is server revenue. More pertinent to this thread, EMC is growing faster than Sun.
They are no longer an industry leader in technology
They aren't? I believe they are considered the leader in storage, in all regards. More exactly, their software is what distinguishes them from all others and has them on top. Kind of like Sun's Solaris, RAS, service, etc. supposedly fuels Sun.
Why else would anyone want to deal with MSFT at this time.
So Microsoft is dead meat and not an important company any more?
Wow.
I thought I was bad as an Intel bigot. After reading you, I've just decided I'm not even a bigot.
