IMHO, what we are seeing with aol is this. The holders of aol as a pure internet play have been selling, and the lower it goes the more nervous they get, and the more they sell. Those who see the value in the new aol/twx, which includes institutions, are sitting on the sidelines waiting for the selling to subside. It makes no sense for them to take a position while there are others selling.

So I don't expect a good rebound until the old paradigm crowd gives up and there are no more sellers. I have no idea where that level is, but it might be down in the 40's. At that point, the new paradigm investors will step in and may bring back some of the old paradigm investors.

Because I don't see a quick rebound, but am hopeful for the future, I am not holding any aol common, I only have aol and twx leap calls.
