Even Tench is calling for a Q4 Willy launch so a slip to 2001 wouldn't be a major slip...Wait a minute. Didn't Tench say he had a buddy working on Willamette...? I thought Intels stance was 2H'00 and Tench is saying Q4...maybe there has been a little "back to the drawing board" slip... Seems that I agree with Scumbria, the Willy would have to be taping out now to launch by September...so if they have had to redo it for more MHZ...maybe it has slipped a bit... Then again, there is the floppermine style launch, which means they could launch months before any real volume. Jim
