mark....you know your the master, you got letters after your name! don't mind the creakin as long as the pate keeps shining!

i screwed up on cmgi, should have listened to pal...had a long common, short put, covered call position set in august, which would return about double for jan expiration....cmgi looked good....pushing over 300......soooooooooo, i covered the calls (jan 100 or 50 post splt).......ouch

hopefully those that follow the thread will understand that even us old guys make mistakes....get a bit emotional with a stock, but as long as at the end of the day, one has showed some progress.....makes it worth it!

i feel the extreme volatility actually plays into option strategies, none of the great books written on the subject take current markets into account....things happen in a day that could take a year......i like it!

try to show others that in a fast moving market, better to concentrate on a few issues as there is no time to over analyze.....many on this thread seem to understand what you posted....but good to reinforce...

this thread needs thots(jill's word) from gents like you...
