MONTREAL (Dow Jones)--NHC Communications Inc. (T.NHC) said shareholders at
its annual meeting have rejected the second part of a C$1 million private
placement in order to prevent dilution of the company's market capitalization.
Earlier this month, NHC said it completed a C$325,000 private placement of
debentures and share-purchase warrants. A second tranche was to consist of
C$675,000 of 8% secured convertible debentures and 3,375,000 share-purchase
warrants, which represents the issuance of 6.75 million shares if exercised.
In a news release, the company said that following the first tranche, it has
18,255,291 shares outstanding.
NHC Communications makes switching and fiber-optic products.
