LOL, Chaz. How else would you call 3-5% market share, probably more GSM than CDMA (trials)??? There's an article on China Online that chronicles the agonies of China Unicom and its routine price wars with the bigger China Telecom. Also, before you write off Nokia's CDMA strategy, you might want to check out the IBM-led activity in silicon germanium, TXN's 2/22 major DSP announcement and Intel's unstinting appraisal of its analog skillsets and assets (typically precedes major moves). You might be surprised at what you find in the communications chipsets arena regarding performance budgets.
