Gary - <We need to know what products Intel flash goes into...for example, do Sony's Mem Stick, CompactFlash, and SmartMedia all use Intel flash? This will assuredly be a major shakeout among these three forms of memory in the next 1-2 years....this would be a major concern if, say, CompactFlash become THE standard, yet Intel DOES NOT do business with Sandisk!
I hope this clarifies a bit what my misgivings as an Intel long.>

Gary, I dug a little more into the site I forwarded to you, I came up with this:

These articles suggest that Sandisk and Intel are direct competitors.

If you are hoping for a collaboration between Sandisk and Intel, it does not appear to me to be very likely.
