MB: Etrade allows you to open an individual or joint account with margin or cash option. Both are interest bearing accounts. I guess they skim a little and give you about 0.5 % below prevailing money market rates, but $400 immediate return on $1000 investment is hard to recover by skimming with 0.5% interest. You seem to have stepped past my earlier query to you on Bob Brinker. I dont have that Post# but what do you think of this guy's new bear coat on Jan 14 ? He was a perma bull till Dec 99 and used to make fun of the perma bears saying that they dont get it, you know the productivity and low inflation miracle. Simba
