steve - caution in order re. internets. first viewing cmgi chart - large unfilled gap in the 50s and stock in downward channel - potential to give up (at least temporarily) the huge quick gains from late last year: iqc.com second - surprise from investment banker at MIT Enterprise forum: boston.internet.com trigger could be the fed rate hike after the upcoming one. i think this year could be the year that internets finish with no gain from beginning of year. in 1998 many had ended the year in corrective (fear) phase which was pause that refreshed going into 1999. in 1999 many ended year on large quick gains (greed phase) which will require correction (fear phase) in 2000.
