OT OT Jon, imo JDSU's value to the investment community is in the 'eye of the beholder'. (That doesn't tell you anything, does it?)

Seriously, you 'nailed it' when you talked about the possibilities for future growth that are 'not now taken into consideration' -- and that you need to do 'dd' on.

I, personally, will NEVER sell my JDSU, unless the fundamentals of the company change. Why -- because it is my belief that 5 years from now the share price will be far greater than its current 'all time high', and I can't think of another place to put my money that will give me 'more bang for my bucks' -- except, of course, other stocks that I feel the same way about.
