(CPQ 27 1/4 -1/4) ABN AMRO maintains "outperform" rating and $35 price target; revises down 1Q00 and 2Q00 EPS forecasts by two cents each based on weaker than expected 1H00 demand... Full-year forecast falls from $1.13 to $1.09... Valuations remain compelling and long-term strategy is impressive citing aggressive plans to move to 60% direct selling for PCs by end of 2000... Separately, Prudential reiterates its "buy" rating after an analysts meeting... Proclaims that risk/reward ratio is attractive, valuation is attractive. "
