iCAST Adds Two Executives To Senior Management Team WOBURN, Mass., Feb 1, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Former Launch Media Executive Jonathan Sichel Joins as Senior
Vice President, Business Operations; Anthony Brandano Hired as CFO
iCAST, an online entertainment venture and majority-owned operating company of CMGI Inc., announced today the addition of two executives to its senior management team. Jonathan Sichel has joined iCAST as Senior Vice President, Business Operations, and Anthony Brandano has joined as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Sichel will oversee iCAST's business development and strategy concerning joint ventures, partnerships and acquisitions. Mr. Brandano will handle iCAST's financial operations. Sichel and Brandano join iCAST during a period of rapid expansion.
Mr. Sichel joins iCAST from Launch Media, Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs. He supervised business and strategic development, operations, and legal affairs for all of the new media entertainment company's divisions, including Launch.com, Launch Radio Networks and its television properties. Prior to Launch Media, Jon was Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs and Associate General Counsel for E! Entertainment Television Networks and E! Online.
Mr. Brandano was most recently Vice President of Finance at Palomar Medical Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded company focusing on developing cosmetic products in the medical laser industry. As a member of Palomar's management team, Mr. Brandano worked on Palomar's strategic and operational planning, including the negotiation of several acquisitions and divestitures, which led to the successful turnaround of Palomar and repositioned the company for future revenue growth. Previous to working at Palomar, Mr. Brandano was employed with Arthur Andersen LLP as a senior manager in their high technology practice.
