DIVERSINET CORP. JOINS RADICCHIO, AN EDS, ERICSSON, GEMPLUS, AND SONERA SMARTTRUST-LED INITIATIVE, TO PROMOTE INDUSTRY STANDARDS AND PKI FOR WIRELESS E-COMMERCE
TORONTO, CANADA--As part of their efforts to help promote wireless security product interoperability, Diversinet Corp., (NASDAQ Small Cap: DVNT; CDN: DVNT) today announced that is has joined Radicchio, a global organization committed to the development of secure wireless e-commerce and the promotion of Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) on wireless devices and networks.
As a member of Radicchio Diversinet will bring its' expertise to the table and work with other group members to advance the use of security in wireless e-commerce applications. In addition, Diversinet and other members will work together to create greater awareness of wireless security issues and advocate the use of PKI.
