I do not think the strong dollar precludes a CONTROLLED CORRECTION in the US stock market since that is what the powers that be now seem to want. But the idea of a major market collapse along with a surging greenback seems extremely far fetched to say the least.

I see the Dow heading down to the 10,000 area before long as stock participants finally learn not to fight the Fed. But that probably will be as bad as it gets as long as the greenback is strong.
