The man is long the '02 50 Calls; I'm suggesting the Jun 45 Calls as a way to begin recovering premium. I think selling the front month ATM calls was inherently dangerous, but selling the Jun 45s 6 months out is a much better bet.

He doesn't say how many he got of the '02 Leaps, but with anything less than 10, it's unlikely that selling a call for much less than a buck would make him money.
