I think the conference call was generally very encouraging. Both in terms of Cascade's growth and the synergies of its alliance with Ascend, the present and the future look very promising. When better than 36% EPS growth is a company's version of a disappointing quarter, you have a quality problem. I have long thought that the long term prospects for this company are excellent, and I have felt the same way about Ascend.
It is valuable for me to remember the positive and encouraging feeling I had upon learning these companies would merge. They are both quality companies about to join and make a super quality company.
