NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2000--STREAMEDIA COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (NASDAQ: SMIL, SMILW) has entered into a strategic content relationship with the COMTEX News Network, Inc. (OTC BB: CMTX) to provide aggregated, focused, real-time news and information to the internet broadcast audience of the Streamedia Networks(TM).
The initial channels of the Streamedia Networks are planned for launch during the first quarter of CY2000. The world-class content distributed by the COMTEX News Network will be integrated into each Network from the moment each goes live.
COMTEX, a leading Net infomediary, delivers real-time news to companies throughout the world.
