First: A little chatty tidbit, HWP gave Carly 80 Million Dollar signing bonus. They had to replace the stock options that she gave up when she left ATT.

Simplistically speaking, this may be a good reason, cost savings, same retail stores, same corp clients. Lots of duplication, lots of opportunity for cost savings.

HP gets CPQ server dominance, CPQ gets access to and a running start on Merced, McKinley.

HP stock is very good currency.

Takes Rosen out of the day-to-day permanently.

Both are no nonsense old line companies.

AND Rosen doesn't have to hire a CFO. :)

Might depend on the price. $100 a share is a number that would certainly get his attention. :)))) CPQ's present cap is 46B. HP is 108B.
