Hi Richard,

Great job. Congrats. My portfolio has been--shall we say--somewhat more volatile in the past week. <vwg> At the high, I was up a fraction over 20% for year. Now +6%. Still better than overall market--so far.

HAS is still sitting around-actually drooping a bit from my entry. Hanging on to it though. It'll have its day. I loaded more NSATF at over 28 and watched it slide--until today that is, up 15%.

I had developed quite an itchy trigger finger, but in NSATF's case, I have to believe that there is a dish buying frenzy out there that is just beginning, so I bought more--21 7/8. And, in true Peter Lynch fashion, am buying my own dish to escape the clutches of my hated local cable co.

BTW, I put in my order for the Fastnet and Via Net.works IPO's. Passed on Varsity Books. I'll let you know if I get some. I hope Varsity makes it, cuzz I've been enough to the local college book store enough w/ my fiancee lately to be convinced the college book industry--in collusion with the colleges--is a huge ripoff. Even so, if Varsity does well, there is no barrier to competition with the Amazons and Barnes/Nobles out there. JMO of course.

I'm gonna pound my drum on DITC. It popped again today. It swooned lately, but I put it close to JDSU as a fundamental hi tech play--almost a "value" at that and one that should really take off if whole market doesn't collapse. SNDK--talk about volatility. Today another buying op, or...? The flash memory business is another that will see exponential growth for the indefinite future. SDLI, one of Dales's I believe, should be good too.

Good luck out there,
Jim
