eDispatch.com Signs Evaluation Agreement With Telcordia(TM) Technologies
AirBoss Middleware Strengthens Role of Mobile Data Transmission for RIM Pagers
VANCOUVER, Nov. 2 /CNW-PRN/ - eDispatch.com Wireless Data Inc. (VSE: EWD - news) has signed an ''Evaluation and Installation Agreement'' with Telcordia(TM) Technologies (formerly Bellcore) to provide eDispatch.com's popular internet-hosted wireless dispatch service to DataTAC and Mobitex Wireless Network Operators. Under the terms of the agreement, eDispatch will install and test the AirBoss servers for commercial launch of the hosted eDispatch service using mobile paging devices from Research in Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM, TSE: RIM).
The first of its kind, the ''bundled'' eDispatch.com solution uses an Internet appliance such as a phone or pager, airtime access at flat-rate costs, and software to track, dispatch, map and manage the work operations of a fully mobile team of workers.

The hardware, developed by Research in Motion provides complete and secure integrated, wireless email solutions specifically designed for the mobile professional. eDispatch.com's software package enables RIM's Inter@ctive Pager 850 and Inter@ctive Pager 950 to provide handheld message delivery.
