Hi Howard, I think if a company absolutely kills earnings, they'll go up nicely. Then, the stock would probably trade in line with the Nasdaq (down ~ down, up ~ up). All of the ones I follow that sold off had something wrong with the earnings or forward looking, including Qualcomm, Microsoft and EMC. That's not to say that all three of these didn't beat the street. They did, but the street wants perfection. Need to get an "A" I guess (A+?) like Cisco did last time. :-)
