Some notes on the CC:

They expect revenues to be flat to down for the third fiscal quarter which ends March 31, 2000, due to inventory adjustments by their 9 volt customers. They are shipping limited quantities of pre-production lithium polymer batteries, but those shipments will have no material effect on the third quarter.

9 Volt: Small increase in margins in second quarter, larger improvements expected over the next two quarters from their manufacturing plan. Plan to reduce inventories by several million dollars through better planning, etc.

U.K.: Sales up only slightly. Hope to get more military and industrial contracts.

Automotive Telematics: Working actively with multiple unnamed customers. They have done sampling with multiple customers.

Lithium Polymer: They have been designed into some customers products. They are shipping preproduction batteries to those customers now. They will not announce until the end customer is shipping product with Ultralife batteries in them. Full ramp up soon. On track to have an aftermarket cell phone battery on the market in the first half of this calendar year.

Taiwan Joint Venture: Testing equipment from different vendors. Final equipment selection will be in the March - April time frame. Equipment will be installed in August-September time frame. Production starting before the end of this year.
