You need a market-savvy CEO in this market. I'm glad Thermo went out and got one! The spin-in is good strategy; the old structure just wasn't working. It was like a collection of nested wooden dolls in a dollhouse (TMO). The new Thermo will be simply described as "the preeminent provider of measurement and detection instruments." That will be an organizing principle that investors can understand. WT
