The European Immigrants who came to New England in the 1900's would quite agree. The Textile and Paper Mills were the height of SLAVERY in this Nation..They were subjected to horrifying conditions and they lived in Company Houses, shopped at the Company Stores and "Owed their Soul" to the Company store. The good "Old English Barons" were not particular what the color or race of their slaves were either..
