Tom and All :

Well I tell ya, I am simply fascinated by human emotion. a week ago it was euphoria, 2or 3 days ago it was total despair and now back to euphoria.

There are some very well educated, very astute individuals on this thread, yet I watch in amazement as the emotions of these individuals run on a wild roller coaster. If the story does not change, then I simply do not understand why all the panic sets in. Am I odd or something??? I mean, when I saw the Q drop under $110 all I could think of was buy more, buy more..grab some calls, buy more.....Yet the majority of folks...very smart folks at that, are acting like the world is fixing to end.

As I look back a few years since the internet revolution really kick started everything what I see is very clear and evident. The bulk of my gains have come from stocks that were purchased in a down market/correction. Sure, it's pretty safe to buy cmgi anytime if your long term, but the big gains come from buying when the stock is down. Same with every single one of my quality stocks .

I just can't help but find the swing of human emotions fascinating. I do not consider myself to be overly smart...certainly 80% of the folks here on the porch have more upstairs then me, yet I find myself feeling sorry for many of the people here lately. All this unnecesary worry is not good for the soul.

Anyway, I have a very simple wager for all those concerned about the Q. I'll bet each and every one of you $20 that Q is considerably higher one year from today. All of you that are concerned and panicking should take me up on this bet...if you don't, then you obviously think Q will be higher and you will lose the bet....if so, then why panic.

Anyway, no disrespect intended to anybody here...I just don't see why such a fine bunch of people can be so manipulated by the forces that be.

A good buddy of mine has been wanting some Q for awhile. He told me the other day he had an order in for $112. I told him we may get closer to $100, but he said he believed in the long term picture so much he thought $112 was an awesome bargain if he could get it. Later that day, he is running around doing the Q happy dance as his order filled at $110 and change. Jeepers...3 hours later he is over here sucking down beers by the bushell, freaking out because Q was down at $105 or something. Here is an educated guy. No margin call worries. He knows the Q story is h=just getting started. He knows we are in correction mode. He knows we may go lower before we go higher. Yet he went from being in despair because he had no Q shares, to euphoric for getting shares finally, to despair 3 hours later and of course back to total euphoria now that we have risen...Oh, actually I take that back. He is actually bummed now that he didn't buy more at $110<ggg>

Does this sound familiar to anybody? It is so common, yet I just don't understand it. We are not talking about whocares.com with nothing under it's umbrella...we are talking about Q. Folks...if ya believe, then relax and enjoy the ride. If not, then go buy some whocares.com and see if your tension level gets any better.

Great Evening to all

Keith
