From CBS Marketwatch:

Ariba!

Internet commerce software and services company Ariba Inc. (ARBA: news, msgs) says 15 of the top 100 companies worldwide now are using its trading platform. Bobby Lent, the company's co-founder, said he expects companies and industries to create between 4,000 and 8,000 Net markets by 2003. "You haven't even seen the beginning of the new economies that will be created in these new markets," Lent said. Ariba said software licenses made up 60 percent of 1999 revenue. Revenue from transaction fees accounted for 15 percent of total revenue but that should increase to 30 percent by 2002.

Just waiting for ARBA to get going again.
