Just got back from a weekend in the mountains. While I was away I had a chance to research some possible causes for last week's free fall. When an issue is as closely held as this, even small moves by individual investors can dramatically affect the stock price. Month end maneuvers by market makers, positioning by other significant investors, and weak-kneed reactive investors appear to have lined up like planets and caused the price to ebb to an unreasonably low level. Consider the following; 1. The virtuallydating.com site will revolutionize the online dating scene. 2. The beta test site must be wrung out before marketing can begin. 3. ONIN is very closely held and many investors are impatient. 4. The site was launched at month end. It wouldn't (perhaps didn't is more accurate), take much effort to trigger a selloff to drive the share price down quickly and early enough to allow plenty of time to re-acquire at discounted prices over a period of time until the beta testing is complete and marketing can begin. In short, look at the fundamentals and try not succumb to herd mentality. The foregoing is of course, JMHO.
