To All, Cheapskate Alert, brick and mortar style. 1. Eckerd has some nice rebates this month. Keri Lotion priced at $9.99 is free after mailin rebate. I've never used it, but I have used other Keri products and they are top notch. Also totally free is FA Body Wash, $3.99. This is great stuff and I use it whenever it is free or even cheap (see #2 below). Not free but a good deal was $1 off coupon on the package on the FA handwash, which is like Softsoap. There is a $7.49 rebate on L'Oreal lipstick. Unfortunately, Eckerd does not currently have any of them priced that low. However, if they follow their usual practice, at some time during the month they will have them on sale for $7.49. Sea Breeze Cleanser is free, usually $4.99. Also free is Hawaiian Tropic Self Tanning Lotion for anyone who wants to turn orange. <g> Not free but good deals is $.89 rebates on both Kleenex and Bounty. My life is messy, so I use a lot of both. <g>
2. The only freebate advertised at Walgreen's was L'Oreal lipstick, which they had priced right, unlike EEkerd's. However, Consort hair spray was also free after rebate. And they had a deal where if you bought FA body wash for $3.99, you got the hand wash, worth $1.99, free. And, since I also had a separate $1 coupon, that was both for $2.99.
Not Earth shattering, but if you use the stuff anyway and you shop the stores anyway, you may as well get the freebies. BTW, this was the first time I ever noticed the two big drugstores with so many rebates on the same products. Hmmmm! |
