Insider Selling, Form 144 filing released. cbs.marketwatch.com ( then scroll down half way ... ) < snipped > Comverse Technology Comverse Technology Chief Executive Carmel Vernia filed to sell 144,375 common shares of the telecommunications systems provider, valued at $20.8 million in the open market, according to a Form 144 released Tuesday. Vernia planned to sell the shares on Jan. 18 through Salomon Smith Barney. Woodbury, N.Y.-based Comverse (CMVT: news, msgs) manufactures special purpose computer and telecommunications systems and software for multimedia communications and information processing applications. There are an estimated 76.3 million shares of the company outstanding. The stock dropped 2 5/16, closing at 141 1/16. < snipped >
