Wolf,

As far as I am aware (although I stand to be corrected), once the drug is approved to treat late-stage AIDS, doctors would be able to prescribe it for earlier use, if in their opinion it would be of benefit to their patient. They would not have to meet the Phase III trial conditions to be able to take the drug -- my opinion.

On another note .... I have been tripping around the AIDS sites and I have found some interesting stuff -- including a site that claims that HIV is NOT the cause of AIDS. At first I thought this was a lot of nonsense, until I read the "Who's Who" list of scientists that believe that is the case.

I find this fascinating because more than anything I have read, this material further reinforces DMX's approach to the problem. It's not that the immuno-suppression does not exist; it is not that AIDS is not a real problem, but the conclusions that have been drawn as to its cause, and the "cures" that have evolved, are off of the mark. Have a look and follow the link back to the main page -- it's fascinating! It explains why attacking the virus is a waste of time.
