RE: HLIT Thanks for correcting my impression of the marketing path. This now sounds like an equipment supplier in the Optics industry that is leading in some niche areas by dent of R&D and good management, who does not control the OS involved. They seem to be selling the end user as part of an overall system sale, while my understanding of JDSU is that they sell the Vendors who then sell the system. Since they do not control the OS, they are in constant danger from anybody with a new "whizbang" replacing them. The market they sell to is in such a tornado, that they will probably do well even if they are number 2 or 3 on any particular piece of equipment.
