jbkelle, There are folks still out here. Have you noticed the recent upturn in CREE? CREE makes the SiC wafers that folks would use to grow compound semiconductors on, and that equipment is EMKR stuff. There is also a company in Germany called Aixtron, which is traded on the DAX. I have been trying to find out if they have ADR's. They seem to be doing very well and are the major EMKR competitor. There is also a startup called Nitres, in Santa Barbara, that looks interesting in the field of compound semiconductors, don't know if they are planning an IPO, but they have some very heavy weight names in their personnel inventory.
