I am still flabergasted by the FCC's intentions to reauction NextWave's specturm rights. The only thing that comes to mind is that they were trying to up the ante for fiber compaines that have devised economical advantages to the combination of fiber and wireless networks. Once they witnessed GBLX and ATT providing cash to reorganize NextWave's debt, they must have realized the huge opportunities for the spectrum that is now available.
