Nihil, res-<<<Reagan's chief contribution was obtaining a tax cut that led the explosion of the national debt and created enormous inflationary pressures that led to Bush and Clinton increasing taxes. >>>

The tax cut resulted in an explosion in revenue. What caused the debt was a Congress unwilling to restrain their love of spending. Aggregate inflation steadily declined under Reagans tax cuts. America needed growth after the stagflation Carter years. Cutting taxes helped stimulate growth.

Bush, increased taxes because Congress pressured him by shutting down the government during a critical geopolitical time when the Berlin Wall was toppling.

The middle class deserves to keep more of their hard earned money. "Bribing the rich" is a silly cliche'. The most effective way to restrain spending is to cut off the funding source.
