We live in a matriarchy, at least if TV and movies are an indicator. Most TV ads I see have a dopey moronic guy and an intelligent self-assured woman in them. And the movies? Where's Bogie and Brando? Now we have Dumb and Dumber and the Big Lebowski. The best buddy movie recently was Thelma and Louise. It's a girl's world, if you believe movies and TV.
