I too am a frustrated holder of the stock. Other than the fact that I have been burned on a number of very promising small cap stocks, I just don't know if I trust old Bramson. This"I want to be the company that you want us to be" statement from the annual report sounds like something I would say to my wife after a battle! Just a few thoughts: Bramsons stock purchase last fall not too impressive. It's not like he dug into his pocket and put the money on the table. He authorized a loan from Ampex - because he can. (Then again he could have authorized the same purchase at a lower price but I don't think the desired affect would have been as great) Prior post from aved filled with anger and some good points. Bramson is a part-time CEO. Annual report lists Bramsons address as 65 E. 55th Street NYC. Also lists V.P. Mc-something at same address. (What are they married? - a little humor) I own pub a few few blocks away, I've been dying to check this out. I'd love to invite him over, feed him with plenty of free drink and pick his mind. I'm afraid the 'Street' isn't too excited about Ampex because there really isn't too much to get excited about. Are the longs here the only ones who truly understand Ampex's prospects or lack thereof? DOUBT IT! I am very, very long AXC. (Posting # of shares is silly as it is all relative to what resoursces one has) I will give this stock until the end of next year to do something. If it makes anyone feel better- based on my in-depth analysis. That is.....The fact that most stocks I like go down and the stocks that I don't like and do not buy go up, we just may have a winner. That's right, I am holding a stock that I I believe stinks. We may be on to something! I honestlly hope to be hosting the NYC area AMPEX celebration party someday! Good Luck Too All!
