SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Jan 31, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- U.S. Home & Garden Inc.
(Nasdaq: USHG), today announced that Thomas G. Quigley has been named Vice
President Sales of the Company's consumer subsidiary, Easy Gardener, which
includes such industry-leading lawn and garden products as WeedBlock(R),
Jobe's(R), Emerald Edge(R), and Ross(R). Mr. Quigley will report to Richard
Grandy, President of Easy Gardener.
Mr. Quigley brings more than 19 years of consumer product sales and marketing
experience to U.S. Home & Garden. He most recently served as Vice President
Sales of Triboro Electric Company, L.P.
From 1984 to 1997, Mr. Quigley held various senior level sales and marketing
positions with Monsanto, The Scotts Company, and Fuller Tool Corporation. Mr.
Quigley graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA degree.
