QUALCOMM's SNAPTRACT deal will no doubt boost future sales as carriers will want to employ yet more services that will offer location and position, traffic reports, driving conditions and directions.More E Commerce could be delivered to the handset as well. The acquisition is a brilliant move as it furthers QUALCOMM's IPR position to lock in the best of features to there chip technology. This type of integration of QUALCOMM's CDMA chip will offer even more of a competitive situation for the company and put pressure on those CDMA phone makers not yet using QCOM's chips to do so.Now QUALCOMM and Ericsson will be working together on Bluetooth which makes perfect sense to even further that type of CDMA intergation.INMHO
