Labrador,Yes there are some awesome applications.In Japan a carrier is looking into a collar for pets that house a CDMA chip and a speaker component make up sort of like a one way phone.You can call your pet during your working hours to comfort it with your voice.The SnapTract system now will add position of where your pet is and you could give it a voice message to come home.This of course would be great for children as well knowing where they are maybe checking there position on a kitchen laptop built into the refrigerator.Who knows but one things for sure the envelope will be pushed.
