Can anyone comment on how the JDEC/Ariba partnership might contribute to revenues? Is the partnership exclusive? How integrated must the software be to function correctly?

Joint J.D. Edwards-Ariba OneWorld Solution Delivers Significant Commerce Efficiencies
DENVER, Colo. and MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Ariba Inc. (Nasdaq: ARBA - news), the world's leading provider of B2B eCommerce solutions, and J.D. Edwards & Company (Nasdaq: JDEC - news), a leading provider of e-business solutions that offer speed and agility, today announced that J.D. Edwards will join the Ariba Network(TM) and will use joint J.D Edwards/Ariba solution to aggregate the buying power of its employee base, drive greater economies of scale, and gain supply chain efficiencies. This new client agreement broadens the existing Ariba - J.D. Edwards partnership in which J.D. Edwards offers its E-Procurement solution, powered by Ariba, to its customer base and prospects.

J.D. Edwards will now use the J.D. Edwards/Ariba solution to aggregate their own buying power, gain volume discounts, and streamline the purchasing process from requisition to payment. In addition, as a member of the open, global Ariba Network, J.D. Edwards can seamlessly access efficient trading mechanisms and value added commerce services on Ariba Network including supplier enablement, supplier and marketplace directory services, supplier content management, auctions, reverse auctions, electronic payments and streamlined transaction services.
