Can anyone comment on how the JDEC/Ariba partnership might contribute to revenues? Is the partnership exclusive? How integrated must the software be to function correctly?

J.D. Edwards will now use the J.D. Edwards/Ariba solution to aggregate their own buying power, gain volume discounts, and streamline the purchasing process from requisition to payment. In addition, as a member of the open, global Ariba Network, J.D. Edwards can seamlessly access efficient trading mechanisms and value added commerce services on Ariba Network including supplier enablement, supplier and marketplace directory services, supplier content management, auctions, reverse auctions, electronic payments and streamlined transaction services.
