Great, I'm deaf also, not totally, no phones or TV hardly can make people out, I have followed the development closely, I'm waiting till they have the technology to total implant the device ( I have had conversation with a designer he was saying 5 years, I can wait), the BTE ones look interesting. I'm too active (or I should say reckless <g>) to have a the electronics to be too big, I would smash it. Greg
